About Me

I have produced/narrated more than 20 audiobooks which are listed for sale on Amazon’s Audible platform. A former U.S Army officer, I spent most of my professional career in higher education–first as a faculty member, and later as a communications administrator. After I retired, I served as an adjunct professor of journalism for 10 years. I am a co-author of several college level communications textbooks.

My monthly newsletter Curmudgeonry Light comprises random thoughts on the passing scene that emerge from my fevered consciousness. It is an exercise in concision and wit that I hope will engage readers. A secondary purpose of the letter is to promote the audiobooks I narrate. Read past issues using the link to the archives that I have established on the home page. Sign up as a subscriber if you want to receive them by email.

I live in Lancaster, Pa. with my wife, Candy.
